The Company is looking for a skilled, enthusiastic Associate Product Manager to join a fast-paced, high growth environment.

Professional Qualifications
Education

Minimum of BS in Biology field with 1+ year of hands on lab experience; however, alary and position title are commensurate with education level and post-degree experience.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Assisting the product team with product testing for new applications
  • Assisting the product team in understanding customer needs for software and workflow development
  • Assisting customers with Western blot technical questions, including experimental design, reagents, protocol and analysis, by telephone, email and site visits
  • Assisting customer with Instrumentation hardware and software questions by telephone and email
  • Running experiments to support customer applications
  • Generating application notes and white papers to support company products
  • Running seminars to educate clients on Western blotting advances and our technologies
  • Helping the marketing team develop messaging and advertisements
  • Up to 25% travel
Position Responsibilities
Specific

We seek an applicant with at least 1-2 years of experience in a molecular biology lab to join our product team. You will work within a highly dynamic marketing, applications and technical support group. You will be responsible for supporting our product team in both technical and application support for Western blotting systems, reagents and protocols. Additionally, you be part of the marketing team, generating data for customer education.

We expect applicants to have hands on experience in molecular biology and proteomic techniques, and to have extensive hands on experience with gel eletrophoresis, Western blotting and antibodies.

    • Laboratory experience in Western blotting and gel electrophoresis
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Experience in customer service is a plus
    • This individual should pay strong attention to detail, be friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic, enjoy speaking with a variety of people each day, work well with other people as a team, and enjoy solving problems under a deadline
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

This role is ideal for an applicant interested in interacting with scientists all over the world through solving technical problems with their equipment and reagents. This is an excellent position for a scientist who wants to move from the bench into marketing or product management.

  • Be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Excellent general computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Position is based in Dublin, CA. This is a full-time position. Compensation package includes a competitive base salary based on experience, generous commission, and other relevant benefits.
